Paul McCartney's latest album, Electric Arguments, wasn't released using their own name but rather the name The Fireman. The Fireman can be an experimental music collaboration between McCartney plus a producer who passes the name Youth (Martin Glover.) Electric Arguments is in fact their third album. Their first two were 1993's Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest & 1998's Rushes.

On Feb. 4, 2016, Coldplay ' lead singer Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion ' held a press conference on the Moscone Center West in San Francisco to share with you the show and drop hints about the band's Super Bowl performance. The British foursome upped the tempo a bit after the special dedication by performing a few of their signature songs together with songs using their new album Ghost Stories which will be released on May 19. Martin danced wildly onstage and exhibited much energy as the band performed dance hits 'Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall' and 'A Sky Full of Stars.'
With it's muted bass line and programmed drums, the modern song 'Magic' also strongly recalls another indie touchstone: Radiohead. Although the lyrics may touch on the sentimentalism and romantic whimsy that's characterized high of Coldplay's music during the past ('Call it magic/ refer to it true/ I call it magic/ when I'm with you'), the arrangement is wonderfully understated. Like many of their utmost songs, the lilting great thing about 'Magic' packs a strong emotional punch. And although the Radiohead influence is an unambiguous point of reference, it's nevertheless encouraging to determine the group continue to evolve with a point in their careers when it will be all to easy to retreat.
